Step one
Tour hours and the meet-and-greet
Every canine guest needs a passed meet-and-greet before their first boarding stay. We take one tour or meet-and-greet at a time, during non-peak hours, by appointment, so you're not sharing the visit with another family.
Bring your dog on a leash or in a carrier, and send your documentation at least 48 hours ahead of the appointment. On the tour you'll see the facility features every guest's owner sees: a safe, secure, and stimulating environment recommended by local veterinarians, staff trained in pet care and CPR and first aid, heated and air-conditioned buildings, a monitored fire and smoke protection system, and whole-property backup generators.

Step two
Vaccine timing for dogs and cats
All vaccines must be administered by a vet or clinic, never given at home. Two weeks ahead of arrival is strongly recommended for all of them, and we need documentation in hand at least 48 hours before your reservation. Medical questions about your own pet belong with your vet, not with us.
Dogs

- At least 7 days before arrival
Pennsylvania state law also requires a current county dog license. A dog boarded without one on an inspection day is the owner's liability, not ours.
Cats
- Rabies
- At least 3 days before arrival
- Feline distemper (FVRCP)
- At least 3 days before arrival
We can provide a carrier for the trip from your car to the cattery if you'd rather not bring your own.
Step three
What to pack, and what to leave home
Bring this
- Your pet on a leash or in a carrier
- A familiar-scent item: a blanket, a pillowcase, or an old t-shirt
- Food from home, if you'd rather not use what we provide at no cost
- A favorite toy (tennis balls are fine for the play yard)
- Any medicine in its original bottle
Leave this home
- Rope toys
- Rawhide
- Bully sticks
A tennis ball is fine for the play yard, it's just not something we let a dog keep loose in a suite overnight.
Checkout and fees
Checkout times, fees, and facility hours
- Checkout
- Before 12 noon, or 11:00am on Sundays. A later pickup counts as another boarding day, and overnight rates begin the day of arrival.
- After-hours pickup or drop-off
- $10 plus $1 for every minute early or late.
- Cancellation
- One night's rate if no cancellation notice is given.
