Trusted since 1989
Thirty-six years at the same address, under new ownership.
Noah’s Pet Motel has boarded, walked and groomed the pets of Pottstown, Boyertown, Phoenixville and Douglassville since 1989. In July 2025, the gate passed to Geena, who had already spent ten years on this side of it.
What thirty-six years actually means
An address the community already trusted, run by someone who earned it here.
A business doesn’t last since 1989 by accident. Two generations of families in Pottstown, Boyertown, Phoenixville and Douglassville have handed their dogs and cats through this gate, and most of the routines guests get today, the tuck-in treats, the cuddle parlor, the fenced field, grew out of thirty-six years of watching what animals actually needed overnight.
In July 2025, ownership changed hands. It didn’t change addresses, staff, or the way a stay is run, because the person taking over wasn’t new to the building. Geena had already spent ten years caring for Noah’s guests before she became the one signing for the property.
The team
Geena, Travis and Kat.
Geenais the owner and general manager. She studied animal science, trained as a veterinary technician, and built her experience in pet lodging and daycare before taking over Noah’s in July 2025. She’s pet CPR and first-aid certified and stays committed to continued industry education, and she cared for Noah’s guests for ten years before the gate became hers.
Travishas been grooming dogs for more than nine years. He shares his home with three cats, which tends to matter to a nervous first-timer’s owner deciding who they trust with their dog.
Katis the assistant manager and one of the people you’ll talk to when you call to book a stay or a tour.
The team regularly attends continued-education courses and expos rather than treating a certification as a one-time box to check. On 3/9/19 the whole staff completed comprehensive training and was certified in canine and feline CPR and first aid by Pet Emergency Education, LLC, and the certificate hangs on the wall where every family can see it.

What’s in place around every stay
The parts a family only asks about once, if at all.
- Licensed, bonded, insured
- Fully licensed, bonded and insured, the way any business trusted with a family member should be.
- Someone is always here
- The property owner lives on the premises, overnight, every night, not just during office hours.
- Fire and smoke protection
- A monitored fire and smoke protection system covers the property around the clock.
- Power never really stops
- Whole-property backup generators keep heat, air conditioning and lighting running through an outage.
- Certified in an emergency
- Staff are certified in canine and feline CPR and first aid by Pet Emergency Education, LLC.
- Not a vet, and won't pretend to be
- Geena trained as a veterinary technician, but Noah's boards and cares for pets. Medical concerns still go to your vet.

A small tradition
Guest of the Month.
On the first of every month, one boarded pet gets featured on a framed board in the lobby, and their owner gets a discount on their next stay. It’s a small thing, chosen by hand, every month, since long before Geena took over the gate.
Beyond a room to sleep in
A Birthday Pawty is a real thing you can book.
A dog whose stay lands on their birthday can get the full treatment: digital photos with props at a party backdrop, an ice cream treat, and a take-home goody bag with a birthday bone, an invitation, a bandana and a plush toy. It’s the same instinct behind the cuddle parlor couch and the raised feeders, thirty-six years of noticing what would make a stay better, then just doing it.
