Most of what we have added since 1989 came from watching guests. The couch in the cuddle parlor, the dog-themed movies playing around the clock, the raised feeders, the fleece blankets, the cot if your dog sleeps better off the floor. None of it is standard in this business. All of it is standard here.

- Lamb and rice dry, chicken and rice wet, provided at no cost. Stainless dishes washed daily. Bring your own if you prefer.

- Lunchtime and bedtime tuck-in treats. No charge for twice-daily feedings, cot rentals, or a bed from home.
- The quiet option
- A cuddle parlor with a couch and a TV, for guests who would rather have a lap than a play group.
- Overnight
- The property owner lives on the premises. Monitored fire and smoke protection, and whole-property backup generators.
- Trained for it
- Staff certified in canine and feline CPR and first aid by Pet Emergency Education, LLC.

Before the first stay
The questions the office answers most.
Vaccine timings are the one that catches people out, and they are the one thing we cannot bend on. If you are close to a booking date, call and we will talk it through.
Yes. Every canine guest passes a meet-and-greet evaluation before their first boarding stay, so we can see how your dog settles and match them to the right play group. Tours run Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 11:30 AM and 4:00 to 5:30 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM to noon, by appointment. We take one tour at a time so you are not sharing the visit.
Dogs need rabies, bordetella, distemper and canine influenza, all administered by a vet or clinic. Influenza and distemper must be at least 3 days before arrival and bordetella at least 7 days, though we strongly recommend 2 weeks for all of them. Cats need rabies and feline distemper (FVRCP), at least 3 days ahead. Send documentation 48 hours before your reservation. Pennsylvania law also requires a current county dog license.
Canine boarding is $47.00 per day for any size dog, plus an activity. Feline boarding is $28.00 per day for any size cat. Doggie daycare is $27.00 per day, or as low as $24.00 with a discount package. There is no extra charge for twice-daily feedings, cot rentals, or a bed from home. We offer a military discount, a 5% first-board coupon, and long-term and multi-pet discounts on activities.
Your pet on a leash or in a carrier, something that smells like home such as a blanket, pillowcase or t-shirt, any medicine in its original bottle, and a favourite toy. Food is provided at no cost, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please leave rope toys, rawhide and bully sticks at home. Tennis balls are fine for the play yard.
Yes. We have a separate space for our smallest guests: guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, ferrets, bearded dragons and other small pets and reptiles. You provide the enclosure, the food and any special feeding instructions. For aquatic pets or hamsters we can recommend a trusted pet sitter instead.
Before 12 noon, and before 11:00 AM on Sundays. A later pickup counts as another boarding day. Overnight rates begin on the day of arrival. If you need to collect outside our posted hours there is a $10 after-hours fee plus $1 per minute early or late.
We cannot board dogs with contagious diseases or parasites, and we cannot board cats with FIV or a history of upper respiratory infections. If your dog needs a special diet or medication we can almost always work with it, including cheese, peanut butter, chicken nuggets and Pill Pockets.
